​As National Drive Electric Week came to a close last week, we are delighted to shine a spotlight on the remarkable achievement of having 1,000 of our employees now driving electric vehicles (EVs).

Recently, we gathered to celebrate a significant milestone alongside our dedicated Clean Transportation team and colleagues – one thousand of our employees have made the switch to EVs. This achievement stands as a testament to the enthusiasm and unwavering commitment of our employees, propelling us toward a future with cleaner air and reduced emissions.

"The remarkable success of 1,000 employees transition to EVs, underscores our steadfast dedication to sustainability and innovation," said Miguel Romero, our Chief Commercial Officer, at a recent celebratory event to commend the dedication of the ​entire SDG&E team.

Our committed team focused on clean transportation has consistently gone above and beyond to create initiatives and nurture programs that have accelerated this remarkable achievement. Natasha Contreras, Clean Transportation Customer Engagement Manager, also shared her sentiments, emphasizing that "Achieving our goal of 1,000 employee EV adoptions signifies more than just a number – it is a reflection of your unwavering dedication and the collective impact of our SDG&E family."
