City of San Diego and Community Partners Offer Recovery Assistance

At SDG&E, we know that recovering from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic hasn’t been easy. We’re here to help.

COVID-19 Emergency Rent and Utilities Assistance Event

For our customers who have been financially impacted by COVID-19 and are behind on your rent or utilities, the San Diego County COVID-19 Emergency Rent and Utilities Assistance Program (ERAP) will provide payment assistance for renters behind on rent and utilities. Too, the County will now pay 100 percent of unpaid and future rent to landlords and tenants.

Community Partners Are Here to Help

Because we know the eligibility requirements and application for assistance can be overwhelming, SDG&E, along with our community partners, the San Diego Housing Commission, and the San Diego & Imperial Counties Labor Council, will co-host an assistance event Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 4-6 p.m. at the Robert Egger, Sr.- South Bay Recreation Center. Representatives will be on-site to provide information on our customer assistance programs along with application help.

Can’t join us? SDG&E has many programs and services that can provide immediate financial assistance. For more information, visit https://www.sdge.com/COVID
