Earlier this summer, Media Arts Center San Diego shined a Hollywood spotlight on local student filmmakers for the 21st annual iVIE (Innovative Video in Education) Student Awards & Film Festival, a competition to recognize the power of video as a creative and educational tool. Students in grades K-12 walked the red carpet and saw their films on the big screen for the event, which took place at Reading Cinema Town Square.
Our team sponsored the contest and hosted the #LOVELECTRIC category, which highlighted student videos that explored the world of electric vehicles. Three winning student filmmakers received a check for $750 each.
Watch the winning #LOVELECTRIC films below:
- Magnolia Elementary School “Back In My Day”
- Carmel Valley Middle School “Electric Rebirth (2022)”
- The Grauer School “Love Electric”
